BEN LEE

Ben Lee is a musician and performer, having studied both throughout his life. His love of traditional jazz and blues and vision for a raucous, and high energy stage show led to the formation of the Wild Man Jazz Band.

He has performed across Europe with his former band, The Candy Apple Jazz Band, and currently plays with The Happy Pals, Toronto's longest weekly New Orleans jazz residency at Grossman's Tavern. He regularly performs with several other groups, including The West End Riverboat Band and his traditional blues group, Benson Lee & The End of the World.

In 2017, he played with celebrated New Orleans jazz clarinetist, Dr. Michael White and calls New Orleans his second home.

In addition to his work in music, Ben's love of performance extends into theatre and puppetry and often works in public spectacle with Toronto's Clay & Paper Theatre.
